To get there, you’ll have to walk down the stairs at Uluwatu, go through the caves, and make your way onto the sand. But remember, it’s only accessible during low tide, so be sure to check the tide times and pack your swimsuit.
- The Abandoned Aircraft on The Clifftops, Pecatu – It’s hard to find any other place except Bali where you can see abandoned airplanes perched right on the cliff’s edge. This is the case with a huge Boeing 737-200, located 150 meters above Nyang Nyang beach in the southern part of the island. The plane was abandoned in Pandawa village and was later relocated to its current spot in 2021. For the adventurous, it’s possible to climb up and sit on the wing during sunset, and in the near future, it will even be possible to book a night’s stay here as it’s being converted into a villa.
