Here is a list of some of the best poke bowls in Bali:

  1. Moai – Moai Restaurant is a popular dining establishment in Canggu, Bali. Situated amidst the beautiful surroundings of this coastal village, the restaurant offers a unique blend of stunning views, delicious cuisine, and a laid-back atmosphere. The chefs at Moai Restaurant prioritize using locally sourced ingredients, ensuring the freshness and quality of each dish. They skillfully combine traditional recipes with modern techniques, resulting in a unique culinary experience. The menu starts with Power Bowl, Poke II, Poke I, and delicious Double Poke.

2. Unibowl – A poke restaurant located between Canggu and Seminyak that serves unique and modern poke bowls with well-balanced and delicious flavors. They use different ingredients to create the perfect poke recipes, including sashimi, meat, vegetables, and grains. Their menu includes a Salmon Bowl with flamed-torched Aburi fillet, an Ahi Poke with sashimi tuna, nori, avocado, sesame seeds, and wasabi-ginger soy, as well as vegan and vegetarian options like the Tempeh Bowl. Unibowl also offers a build-your-own-bowl option with Japanese toppings such as onsen eggs, furikake, miso eggplant, and spicy ponzu.

3. The Avocado Victory – One of Canggu’s top cafes, is renowned for its fantastic poke bowls. Although avocado is an essential ingredient in these bowls, there are several different options to choose from. The classic poke bowl with smoked salmon, loaded with avocado, marinated tofu, edamame, and chives over a base of quinoa and red rice is one of our favorites. Alternatively, you may try the Chicken & Avo Lassi bowl, which includes marinated chicken, coconut yogurt and avo lassi sauce, rucola, purple spinach, stracciatella cheese, asparagus, avocado, and orange zest for a unique flavor experience. The restaurant boasts a relaxed atmosphere and overlooks Canggu’s most central rice field.

4. Moana Fish Eatery – A small authentic Polynesian eatery located at the top of Jl Batu Bolong in Canggu. The restaurant is decorated with tropical jungle vibes and serves up a variety of Hawaiian dishes. Pescetarians will especially love the sugarcane juice, sashimi, carpaccio, tartare, tataki, and BBQ fish, but the legendary Poke Bowl is a must-try. The Poke Bowl is made with lightly marinated raw tuna, avocado, edamame, cucumber, and cabbage and is dressed with sesame seeds, scallions, and ginger. Unsurprisingly, there’s a queue out the door every evening at this popular spot.

5. Poke Theory – A restaurant that offers delicious food that’s also healthy, which they describe as “Bangin’ food gone healthy.” They prioritize using fresh and sustainable ingredients in their poke bowls, acai bowls, and cold-pressed juices and are committed to becoming 100% plastic-free. Originally from Singapore, Poke Theory has made a name for itself in Canggu by providing a range of poke options, from their signature bowls to custom-made ones. Customers can choose between fresh cubes of tuna or salmon, and even opt for sous vide chicken or tempeh for those who prefer cooked meat. Their vegetable options are also diverse, and they encourage customers to “paint the rainbow” with their choices.

  1. KYND Community – Located in Seminyak, KYND Community is a plant-based cafe that offers a range of healthy and delicious dishes, including poke bowls. Their bowls are made with fresh ingredients and they have a variety of vegan options available. They provide great customer service.
